We're building a unique space where artists and creatives come together to explore the challenges and triumphs of the creative journey. Our intimate meet-ups, limited to 20 participants, combine open discussions, creative exercises, and honest conversations about mental health in the arts, social barriers, and cross-medium collaboration.
Together, we're building understanding, support, and inspiration.
While Cult Creative Meet-up events are featuring diverse artist stories and meaningful connections, we're excited to welcome new voices to our growing community. Each session offers a safe space to share experiences, learn from fellow creatives, and participate in guided creative exercises.

Cult is a creative studio focused on visual storytelling. We help brands build or reshape their stories through photography, motion graphics, and creative direction. We are talented people who gather to form a tailored team based on your needs.

Behind the name

We worship our work
The term "cult" first appeared in English in 1617, derived from the French culte, meaning "worship" which in turn originated from the Latin word cultus meaning "care, cultivation, worship".

Cult, which shares an origin with culture and cultivate, comes from the Latin cultus, a noun with meanings ranging from "tilling, cultivation" to "training or education" to "adoration." In English, cult has evolved to have a number of meanings following a fairly logical path.

I'm Yigit Gunel, founder of Cult Studio in London. I'm a creative director, photographer and motion graphics designer who specialises in visual storytelling for brands and magazines.

Over 15 years, I've created award-winning campaigns for major brands, including a Cannes Lions Bronze Medal. I’ve had the privilege of working with incredible brands and publications, learning and growing with every project. I believe the best results come from collaboration. 

My goal is to transform London's creative landscape by fostering collaboration between emerging talents and established brands through our studio community.
